Yeah I was experimenting. Some how I got the second card to be noticed by the miner and can get the clocks up, but now they are both boosting their Mem clocks as if I were gaming.
I used AB to for all my clocks, but 900mhz is the lowest I can get the mems with it so I left it there.
What you may have to do for the memory is lower the memory clock all the way, switch the "active" card in AB then switch back and you should be able to go lower on the memory. That's odd that you can only go to 900MHz though. Even without doing the above procedure, I can go down to 600MHz on the memory.
There must be some settings in AB that is causing that. Extended clock limits or something like that? Are you using the newest version of AB?
Okay...so I'm not even sure if I set my account up right. So, here are the steps I took if someone wants to let me know if I did something wrong BEFORE I realize I'm not minting.
I downloaded Bitcoin Wallet (bitcoin-qt), I used the address under the Address Book to register an account over at Mt. Red.
I used that account to log into GUIMiner and clicked start.

I'm using: AB 2.3.1
The lowest the slider goes is 701mhz, but when I go below 900mhz the clocks just revert to factory stock (1325/1425). So just left it at 900.
Before when I couldn't get the second miner to go, I had one card doing 1150/150 with the other doing 500/350.
But at least now both are mining at full clocks
1100 core gets me just under 650 mhash. Are you setting flags in the guiminer window? Here is my setup for flags: -v -w 256 -f1
Yeah, all of that sounds about right - although usually I have to put in a few flags (-w 256 -v 1) to get throughput up.
To make sure something is happening, on MtRed's website, click "Mining" and then "miners" and you should see numbers next to your worker indicating that it's doing something. Money doesn't directly go to your wallet. You need to set up autopayment and then have enough bitcoins to exceed the threshold required for autopayment.. and then after it pays automatically - or you initiate it - you should see it show up in your wallet... after a while has passed.
Username and password correct in Guiminer? The user/pass would be different to what you use to log into the MtRed site. Each mine worker would have a different username to your site username (usually). Sorry I can't give specific info...I haven't used MtRed in a while...I was using BTCGuild for the longest time.
I'm looking at the miner page, and I realized I have to create miners? I assume that is what you mean? I'm gonna test that right now.

Thanks for the Help. I went and signed up with BTCGuild, used their directions and it is actually showing my miners working so I'll stick with them.
I currently run a 6950, 7950, and 7770, and the 6950 is the worst of the bunch. It's hot, noisy, doesn't overclock well, and it's just plain finicky. The 7950 is worth the extra cost, both for gaming and for mining. The 7770 is also surprisingly good, as long as you're ok with ~200mhash max.Also, a 6950 is 170 right now. Is the cheaper price worth the extra energy usage?

That used to happen for me when I was still fine tuning my clock/voltage combinations. If your display driver crashes and resets, it will stop mining. Just have to caress it a little :wub:

there is a cool app you can get for your phone that allows you to remote into your home computer. I think it's called Teamviewer IIRC.

I used that for a while when I was just getting my mining rig going. Helped to reset AB or the mining client rather than wait all day until I could get home.
