Every dollar you have under Federal Reserve Banking is a Debt and a Monetary System designed to keep us SLAVES?

Get back to me when we are deemed merely "property" and not human. It is an insult to real slaves, both past and present. And inflation need not have a central authority implementing it.

Overreact much? The point is, we're all slaves to the all mighty [insert currency here], working indefinitely just to live in a commercial world.

BTC/LTC on a steady rise. DOGE looks like it's slightly lagging.

I know the guys here with 10+ mH farms were clenching their teeth the past few days. heh

Looks like it's going to go up from here. All is well.

Work is inevitable. You could dream of pre-Industrial Revolution Europe, but then you got to take back tuberculosis and other maladies, along with buildings that would struggle to pass modern code, and having to go through many babies just to get 2 long-living ones. And horse manure in the streets.

Currency's effect on things is vastly overstated. It is the production function, which constitutes labor and capital, that more accurately represents economic might, whereas currency only exists and is used because it facilitates exchange of goods better than bartering. Whether it is a coin made of pure gold, paper money, or these virtual currencies, what good are they in their own right? They are nothing but tools to buy something of some sort of use, aka a good".

And not only that, but the interactions between various variables of a currency can be vulnerable to are indeed, independent of the central authority or lack thereof.

And it is not overreaction given the way how slaves are viewed on a personal level and how they are generally treated. Slaves were viewed as PROPERTY; the equivalent of a table, axe, gun, etc. Owned and solely at the master's control. Mere tools to do manual labor in conditions. And for women, they get the "luxury" of producing bastards with the "master" or being a prostitute. And of course, something they can literally be bought and sold with no regard to the wishes of the slave himself.

BTC back around $600. PTS back around .03 BTC. All is right with the world

Not one heed to my comment!

Your all wasting my time Puppies.

Because your comment was not understandable.

Does this Bitcoin set back effect the Hash Rate Vs accumulating Litecoins mining with AMD GPU's?

Reading it now for the 4th time, I guess you mean to ask whether the Bitcoin price dip affects the difficulty for Litecoin mining? I doubt it. Hash rate and difficulty are still rising for Bitcoin.

every coin I mined is stuck in mtgox
been trying to get out since november, I was too late

Doesn't look good, Mt Gox has been so irresponsibly secretive about customer funds and what customers can expect that I have my doubts that there is anything good to come from them.

Send me a BTC address either in thread or via PM and i'll send a small sum in an effort to help scrape off some of this crap Gox got you wrapped in.

Manufactured crash. IMHO

has there ever been cash in the history of mankind that wasn't manufactured?
Even when table salt was used as cash people actually produced it in special drying pools (although I suppose sometimes someone found some in a naturally occurring deposit)

If that's the case, then BTC will be over $1000 sooner rather than later.

I think it was manufactured. Looking at that BTC live world map of where BTC is going which was posted a few pages ago... 90% of it was going to China.

I think we will see BTC over $1k in the next few weeks, or at least pretty close to it.

Anyone look at OXcoin, seems to be a chinese Doge coin of sorts. But be warned it has a very heavy premine 5% or something.

For anyone who cares it looks like some of the top coins currently are:

1. Klondike (KDC). Thanks to Sunny for recommending. Good for both pump and dumps and holding. Devs are going to fork the coin this Sunday which could pump up the coins value.

2. Mint. This coin seems underrated. Has a cool PoS concept (isn't the first) that will pay you 20% interest on coins you hold in your wallet for the 1st year after mining is complete. Mining will essentially be over in 14 days according to their countdown clock. One would think the value of this coin would skyrocket.

3. MAX. The old standby. I'm not sure you couldn't make money by simply dumping MAX. I have been mining it for weeks now. Even though its value is a fraction of where it started, it still beats nearly every other on coinwarz.com per day as far as profitability. It's also easy as pie on the rigs to mine when compared to scrypt coins.

Some new notable ones

Thorcoin, Bitquark (no premine), Blackcoin (essentially like MINT) but POW is done by Sunday I think. Also don't forget VTC and Darkcoin

Yup. Darkcoin look intriguing, but damn if they didn't make the whole concept overly complicated. It's not like crypto is easy to do anyway but it's almost like they went out of there way to "nerdify" it even more.

I did forget about VTC. Thanks for the reminder!

Can anyone PM me with some advice on when it's best to Exchange LTC for BTC (what website to show historic exchange rates).

ultimately to get the most BTC for my LTC I can to sell BTC for USD.

I watch BTC-e but their charts aren't the best for historic purposes.
