I would but people are getting turned in like crazy in the beta forums. They are really looking for people sharing any details.

I'm having issues playing the game at all - its really choppy.
I'm on:
XP home
X2 3800+ @ 2.5ghz
7800gt using 163.69
2GB ocz RAM
32GB Raptor
It slows down for no reason all the time and even at 800x600 i only average 20-30 fps with all settings on low. I think my drivers might be shot, i'm going to try the whql drivers next

Yea, i tried setting things to high, and i was very impressed with how it looked, motion blur isnt as distracting as i thought it'd be. I wish the new gen cards would arrive, i'd like to skip the 8xxx generation if possible and go to 9xxx with penryn.
Which drivers are you using?

I have the same problem on a Geforce 8800 GTS but I was trying all settings at high except for shadows I changed to low sense I don't care much about those. It helped a little but not enough. 9 to 17 fps minimum 20 to 22 fps average with about 30 to 35 fps max with everything on high and shadows on low. This was at 1680x1050, which is a pretty high resolution. God help those people with a 24 inch and larger lcd monitors. I am hearing even a GTX and Ultra has problems with performence. Not sure about SLI yet because no one who has SLI has tried Crysis so far as I have heard. Once the 25th comes around we should hear a lot more about people who used SLI with Crysis and if it helps a lot with getting playable frame rates during heavy action scenes even!
Once I switched most of the settings to medium I had just good enough performence with a pretty good average of 35 fps and minimum of about 20 fps. It still looks pretty good. One setting if I change it to medium it makes all kind of stuff disappear, really strange. Like parts of the game you can't see anymore. So I had to leave that setting at high or else I wouldn't be able to see some stuff in the game. Though its a beta so this kind of stuff is going to happen. Not sure if this happens to anyone else or not.

Installed the new beta driver and Crysis last night. At 1900x1200, it is really choppy on high setting and 4x AA. Lower to 1680x1050 was still choppy on high and 4x AA. I finally got very smooth playing experience with 1680x1050 with everything on high, no AA, and 16x AF (in driver control panel). The graphic was still very good without AA. This game is a lot of fun, especially driving the vehicles. I'll play with different settings at another time, after some more playing time. This is too fun to be messing with different settings.

Perhaps because it's highest settings are not made to be run at playable fps with todays hardware?
I think it's a great idea. If a game comes out that you can run at it's highest settings already, when you spend $500 on the latest card again, all you'll get is more fps. With this you'll get more than that.
As long as the playable fps rate visuals on todays high end hardware look great and aren't neglected/gimped down to make the future visuals appear better, then I'm all for it.

They won't sell many games if someone running a system similar to mine cannot play on the max in game settings with no AA at 1280x1024. I bet UT3 will run just dandy on my system. It doesn't look good and isn't in a developer's interest to market a game that cannot be maxed by anything today. I don't expect 60fps all the time, but make it at least playable (30fps?).
