Well, it appears I am one of the 39% of patients whom Opdivo works for the second time. Neck nodes have decrease, subaxillary nodes have decreased, ,mediasternum nodes decreased. No new nodes anywhere, abs & pelvis are clear. Most of the decreases aren’t huge but some are & I have only been back on immunotherapy for 2 months, plus I have straight Squamous cell cancer now instead of adneosquam. Whatever…. I will gladly accept reports indicating favorable responses to therapy! Looks like the plan is to ride the Opdivo pony till it won’t ride anymore & then enter an immunotherapy clinical trial when the time comes, my oncologist informs several exciting trials are happening

I get to see another Christmas…. You have no idea how happy this makes me 🥰

My husband reminded me it took months to get the subaxillary nodes to go down & that I have only been back on treatment for 2 months. I don’t expect a cure but do hope we can keep beating it back & keeping it under control.

I am dealing with side effects but feel better than I did before restarting infusions & am grateful for this ❤️
