They tell you on the site and in the chat room that there will be delays because of the nuber of orders the recieved during the sale. Those who are patient will get what they order. You do realise that your account starts the day it is setup and not the day you pay them, so you don't lose any days. I have ordered an account from them, very vast upload to ftp and veiwing is fast as well. They tech support is good, especially for the price I paid. This post dosn't belong here any more anyway, Their sale was a Hot Deal but it has ended.

I have had a very good experience with them (after seeing their old deal here on AT). They set me up quick, they continue to answer service questions in a timely manner and my sites are running fine. I've already saved enough money in one month for the whole year's Cyberwings service by cancelling my old host.

I am aware that some people are getting screwed (slow setup and other problems). This is definitely not a good thing and I hope they will work to fix it.

Anyway, now you have both sides of the story.

Hey, the fact that they oversold their business doesn't seem to be reason enough for them to forget what they promised to me. If it feels good to you, go for it. I just want people to be aware that this "hot deal" or any other offered by CW bears scrutiny.

service for me has been great so far, i'd easily pay 12x as much as I did ($3.00 plan) for a full year. that's the only thing that concerns me is they should be charging me more, and if they go under, big deal $3.00, although downtime would be a b*t:|

It's good to here that your service has been great so far. I look forward to getting mine if I'm patient( and I will be). But doesn't it concern you that this company is selling stuff that their having a hard time providing? Plesk 3 was giving all kinds of problems today and apparently it pretty much shut down sign up? I hear they're selling 15 minute set ups for $100 bucks. When I'm on their site it's sort'a like walking through a carnival with people yelling about the deals you can get. What'cha think?

He's not scaring me one bit. CyberWings sold thousands of accounts and I've only heard about 10 serious legit complaints. That's perfectly fine with me.

I need to find 6 domains to host but I can't think of any yet. Several people have regretted not jumping on this deal although it was available for WEEKS (over a month), I won't be selling any of my hosting plans because they all had a chance.

I ordered 5/2/02 and I'm still waiting for my account to be set up.

However, excluding the set up, I have heard nothing but good things about Cyberwings. I can wait a little.

I bought two accounts on the extended 1000 more sale and they're ready and available. Order date was 4/19 and 5/16 it's up. Just waiting for DNS changes to propigate.

Now come on!! So it took almost a month to set up. He doesn't start billing until the setup date and you are getting a YEAR of hosting for three friggin dollars. There's a saying in software development that applies to really hot deals:

-Fast delivery
-Low cost
-High quality

Choose any two.

They were 100% responsive to my inquiries about progress. I have nothing but respect for Cyberwings at this point. I've had wonderful service at a price I can re-coup by collecting soda cans. I'm happy.

Cyberwings is NOT A SCAM

- a few people may have slipped through the cracks
- i have 2 sites hosted, with great uptime compared to my old host
- decent response speed for support requests
- its only $4 a year, what do you expect? handholding? you get what you pay for
- i wouldn't use them for a critical business web host, but they are decent for personal, hobbie sites
