Hey guys!

Theses baby's are about the same price and they both are great cooling solution but im sure one of them will suit my sytsem better...

Ill be using an Antec P150 case with a DFI Ultra-D board. Mushkin RAM and a Opteron 144 wich I plan to overclock(not necessary to the max all the time, like 250FSB for everyday use) and a 7900GT.

The advantage I see for the NINJA is that you can blow the air directly on the exhaust fan; but the Ultra-D have the CPU socket place lower so it wont be the best alignment possible with the exhaust fan. No sure how much it will affect things. On the other hand, the XP-120 can cool RAM and Mofset (althoug I heard Mushkin RAM run pretty cool even when overclock) Also wich one works better at low speed?!(aiming for a silent PC)

So your toughts please...

and Thanks!

scythe ninja cools better passively from reviews. scythe ninja tends to take the lead by a slight edge all the time and thats why i purchased mine...

If you have space in your case, get the Ninja. No reason not to. Besides, the prices seem to be actually lower than the XP-120.

I have both those heatsinks running in a P4-2.6 and a P4-2.8. With a good airflow setup either will cool very well in a low airflow situation. Which is best? It depends on the board itself and your particular airflow. But the cooling potential is virtually the same. Toss a coin....

XP-120 has some compatibility issues with some mobos, which is why I chose the SI-120 over XP-120. However I also own the Scythe ninja and it beats SI-120 in the same case with same cpu same air circulation.

the scyte would probably work beautifully in that case. I have an xp-120 running on my main rig and I LOVE it but, i have a very different setup therefore making it more advantageous to use a classic style heatsink instead of a tower.
