Damaged Traces on Motherboard

HELP!!! I usually hang out in the FS and Hot Deals forums but I recently f'ed up my mobo and need some help. I was installing a very taught hsf where I needed to use needle nose pliers to attach the clip to the socket. The pliers slipped and scratched the traces next to the socket and DIMM slots. I noticed that I had gouged two of the leads pretty badly and fear that I may have cut them because my system will not boot up...the power switch still powers up the system but no video, no bios, no nothing. Is there any way to repair this? Your assistance and wisdom is greatly appreciated.

There are circuit trace repair "pens" available, if the traces are too tiny to use a fine-tipped solder gun and fine solder to bridge the gap. Radio Shack.
