Hell yeah! This may be worth of a keg and invitation to a bunch of friends! I'm always scheming to get my friends interested in motorcycle racing so I have more people to go to Road Atlanta with me every year....hehe.

It will be interesting to see how the qualifying times shape up this year. I'd still put my money on Mat Mladin tho....he's super-consistent and the Daytona is a long damn race.

Better not be any start-line smashups or BS bike changes during the restarts this year....:|

I've got my Tivo set up to record all of it. This will be archieved to CD for future entertainment.

I hope they make some improvements to Loudon after last year's debacle...that track is dangerous. Road A used to be that way (ahh...the Gravity Cavity....we used to always watch there to see the riders' heads bounce off their tanks from the g-force) but is a much, much safer track with the changes. Still exciting to watch too....instead of carnage on the GC and the blind downhill turn after it, we have a chicane (I saw 2-4 riders abreast trying to outbrake each other there last year on every lap) and a straight shot over the hill still with a chance to pass (Duhamel did this couple years ago.....one of the best passes I've ever seen) going into the finish.

This is getting me all fired up for this summer....I gotta get online and get my Big Kahuna tickets!

I thought they were totally going to sell out and have NASCAR on 24 hours a day, but now that i've watched it a bit, I think I like it better than the old format. I can only take so many friggin' car auctions!

Dont' forget that CART racing is also this weekend on Speed Channel..and that rally coverage is not just sunday. but Thursday w/ a preview show, then Friday Saturday Sunday..then Monday w/ a wrapup show! WOOHOO. And then Formula 1 the week after that in Malaysia! YES!
