Dezign, no biggie! 4 years difference isn't frowned upon as much as more years [in age difference].
My sis is currently interested in a good-looking 20 year old guy. She's more than 4 years older than he but not up to 8 years. He's got his acts together and really attracts her. He digs her too. For some reason, she always attracts men of all types, but the most serious guys are guys younger than she or guys who just love assertive women and go-getters. Personally, I'm also finding younger men more attractive. I used to like older guys and laughed off the idea of seeing a guy more than a year younger than I. However, I started to change my attitude. I love younger guys, but not extremely younger. I would be comfortable with at most 5 years younger. Anything more sounds more uncomfortable to me, and it makes me think of myself as a controlling person. In my view, it's controlling women that usually go for guys more than 5 years older. However, things are starting to change now. Oprah did a show about younger men and older women together. It was interesting. It's getting more common. (Maybe it would be less of controlling women now?)
Most importantly, it's starting to become acceptable for women to date men younger than they. I guess Tina Turner wasn't that persuasive, but more celebrities endorsing it is attracting the interest of the viewers, who are typically followers.
So, chill and enjoy the company of the man you're interested in!
