this guy is funny

LMAO, would said anything about serious relationships? What about just having fun / casual relationships full of sex and adventure?

Let me guess you think Dezign is Ms. PollyPureheart and doesn't know what she is getting into and *gasp* may have sex and it not be a serious relationship?

Let me guess also that you constantly think you'd be the best guy for her, but she doesn't know it.

My brother told me about a chick he went out with recently to have boba teas with. He is 19 and he said that she posts in an internet forum. Thankfully they didn't do anything because my brother has COOTIES!!!

Don't sweat it, me and my gf have 2 years in between us. I just turned 20 and she'll be 22 next month

It took some getting used to for her in the beginning, but now she's realized it isn't about age...finally It was a bigger deal when I met her though, since the gap between 17 and 19 seemed larger at the time when I met her....

Reminds of that Kids in the Hall skit.

Blue-haired woman with a walker hobbles by a dapper young man.

Young man: Oh, nice to see you again. Sorry about that hip...

Blue-haired woman: Don't worry, it was worth it!

Sorry, couldn't resist. But yeah, I'll echo the others here. 4 years isn't a big deal.

maybe you should try it

Why?I hate babysitting

no need to babysit a 27 year old guy

Well, I'm engaged to a 49 yr old that makes most of you dudes look like you're in kindergarden

I was dating a 31 year old woman when I was 21. I'm 23 now, and we're no longer dating; however, we are still good friends.

I say go for it unless he's your typically immature college kid.

LOL... gah... here's hoping I NEVER get to that point!

Just finished reading through the thread (yay for high-speed Internet acccess again!), and I just want to thank everyone for their positivity and open-mindedness. We spent most of the day together yesterday... he tried out for an improv show and was assigned to the college team, so he'll be performing every Thursday evening in Westwood. Maybe we should arrange some sort of ATOT meetup there one Thursday.

He's so sweet and attentive... just a tad silly/immature (i.e. he and his roommate apparently become superheros when they drink... gak... ), but I can deal. He's a bright guy, and I really enjoy spending time with him because he makes me laugh (and is fun to kiss :lips: ).

Just one thing... last night (after our SECOND date), he asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend... I don't know what it is about guys that makes them want to jump into relationships right away, but... he was so endearing, I figured I'd give it a shot. So today, I officially have an 18-year-old boyfriend at UCLA. Feels weird saying/typing that, but kinda good at the same time. If I take off work tomorrow (we aren't granted the day off here), we'll go to Disneyland.

The only reason I would be skeptical of dating a younger person is that it can get tiresome trying to find "cool" places to go that both you and your younger SO can get into. (speaking from experience)

Classic Skoorb...

As for finding things to do together, I've been scoping out 18+ places... it's definitely limiting, but I'm sure we'll find things to get ourselves into. Museums, aquariums, zoo's, Speedzone, restaurants, etc... there are a few 18+ clubs we may venture into together at some point... do you have any other suggestions on where to go/what to do if your s/o is underage? I think this is a good thing, as it'll keep me away from Vegas for awhile... he was joking that when we go to Tahoe to ski together, he'll sit and wait in the kiddie room while I gamble.
