Daylight Savings Time...again

Yes, I know there are other threads on this topic. But those were from the last DST. I was not in the field (actively) last time, so I'm not quite current. If everything was patched last spring for DST, is there anything further that needs to be done for the one coming up??

Is there any way to tell from your current patch level if you need any patches relating to DST?

It would really help to know what operating system you are using. I'm going to assume your on a windows platform, and as long as your fully patched, you should be fine. If you have any time dependent software you will need to check with the manufacturer.

environment is mostly Windows Server 2003 with the odd XP box wishing it was a server...

Hard to tell .. I just tried seting my tray clock to Nov 4, 2007
and the time did not change .. But I also use the internet
auto time adjustment feature, so when they change the
internet clock, it should update ok (I hope)

you could always just visit windows update, that way you'll know if the patches are applied...

Another workaround is to set your location as Arizona - then put the time you want. No DST in AZ.
