DDR2/3 800mhz 2GB Stick ECC?

So with x38 coming shortly I want to get 4GB of ram for Vista x64, but importantly I want ECC ram in dual channel mode. I want fast low latency ram.

When I look around I dont see any ddr2 800mhz rated in 2gb sticks. Or even ddr3 spec in ECC and 2gb sticks.

Anyone know what the story is?

ECC memory is not as fast as equivalent unbuffered non-ECC memory. Also, there is virtually no demand for ECC unbuffered memory so it is VERY hard to find. If you want to OC and/or not spend an exhorbitant amount of money, I'd suggest unbuffered non-ECC memory for that board. You only "need" ECC on mission critical servers or possibly certain types of work stations.

Im aware of the those factors, thanks. I want 800mhz ECC ram in 2GB sticks. If its not available, then I guess I will have to get the slower stuff in the 666mhz range.

Ok I found Kingston do unbuffered ECC in DDR2 @ 800mhz, but the catch is its only in 1gb sticks. If anyone knows who does it in 2gb per stick that would be great.
