I've been using my EpoX 8RDA+ mobo for about two years now. Never a hitch. But I think today is the day that it died. Please confirm.
Watching an episode of South Park last night, the computer just up and restarts on me. It makes it to the memory count and freezes. So I unplug the system, reseat some stuff, make sure I'm drawing enough power, and try again. This time, it doesn't even make it to the memory count. So I unplug and go to sleep. I'll deal with it in the morning.
This morning, I get as far as the screen prompting me to start windows in safe mode or normally. I choose normal and it freezes. I keep trying and on several occasions it halts at the memory count because it doesn't detect my fans' RPMs... Now finally I start it up and everything is going fine... then some weird horizontal white lines engulf my screen during the IDE detection, kind of like those dumb fade effects in PowerPoint.
Anyways. Are these surefire signs that my motherboard is dumping?
If you need any more information, feel free to ask. I'll be checking back frequently. I'd need to order any new parts ASAP.
Thanks in advance.
