Death of Star Trek?

So what happens now? Voyager is the last of the Star Trek series of TV shows and this Season is THE Final Season!

Any plans for any new Shows? Or do we just wait around for the next movie?

I think they have another show in the works and the next movie is slated for about a year from now.

Yeah, new show sometimes soon, hopefully it will be about the birth of the fediration, that I´d like to see.

The next series is going to focus on Dianna Troi and her family tree.

Yeah, 403, I heard it is going to focus on her stints as a librarian in the "Adult" section of Memory Alpha as well as her exotic dancing stint when she was a slave of the Orions. She really "got around" before she "joined up" with Riker and the rest of her crew.


As long as it isn't some lame "Star Trek for Kids" BS (a la Battlestar 80) it should be OK. They haven't seriously messed up the ST universe yet!

Kevin Sorbo is in that new show that Gene Rodenberry came up with,, I don't remember the name of it.

That's not part of the ST universe though. It's by Roddenberry, but something completely different.

I think the startrek universe is done with. A prime example of the star trek universe going down the pooper is how Voyager had to resort to sexual attraction in order to attract viewers(the half borg babe), thats something that the next generation and deep space nine never had to do.

DS9 and Voyager could be sooo great, just if they would skip the pathetic pointless shows about nothing that are constantly everywhere. If they would make a show that would be like all the good shows then it would be great, no matter what it would be about.. almost

Andromeda comes on at Monday about 1:am in this part of the world. Last night I tried to watch it and fell asleep after about 15 minutes for the 2nd week in a row.

I think that Rodenberry?s daughter is in it. All everyone did was argue with everyone else except a Bat guy who looked like he wanted to hump Kevin Sorboe?s leg. What a come down.

From what I hear, the next series will be set towards the beginning of the federation. Someone actually said that Kirk might make a return. Actually a young Kirk. Who knows.

Yeah aandromedia sorta sucks, and so does Roddenberry's other creation, EARTH FINAL CONFLICT. I mean it does have it's good eps but for the most part the plot gets repetitve and boring.

Anywaz, there are alot of rumors floating around about the new series. Some say it's gonna focus on a group of young cadets in the academy. From what i have read in interviews from the producers of star trek, they say it's gonna be different from the other 3, so it's not gonna focus on a crew on a station like ds9, nor is it gonna focus on a crew on a starship like TNG and VOY did.
