Deciding between two 37" displays

i say sceptre
has built in tv tuner too at the same price as the westi

Personally, I'd go with the Westy, if you are primarily going to use for computer use.

The built in tv tuner is not worth much else you are in the small segment that will use it.

I also think the Sceptre shares the DVI and the HMDI (e.g you can use one or the other) which may really suck depending on what you want to do with it. I've owned both and ended up with a 30" Westy (way back when) and a 37" 1080p, which I absolutely love.

Both are at a nice price; IMO I've been happy with my Westy - I just think work better for computer apps.

Probably both are fairly similar - check out avsfourums for threads.

lol, i bought them both back in november. the hdmi port on the sceptre died after about 5 months. costco tookit back and i still have the westy.

pq is pretty close but i think sceptres are a bit cheaply made. i also have heard that the hdmi port dieing within a year is not rare.

and thats a hot price from costco on that westy. nice.
