well they took a gamble on TJ vs. Benson. And thus far, looks like it has been a bad gamble. A 4th overall pick, best RB in the draft should be able to handle it, but he can't hold on to the ball.

I really need to see Olsen touch the ball 6+ times and Hester/Wolfe to at least be looked at. I will be perfectly happy if i see a screen pass to Hester. All i want.

Not reading this entire thread, but you have no idea on Vince Young. Dude is awesome, why all the hate?

I consider Vince Young to be a combination of Michael Vick and (the old) Daunte Culpepper. Time will tell if he is closer to Vick's legs and Culpepper's arm, or Culpepper's legs and Vick's arm. If he's the former, he'll be great. If he's the latter, he'll be terrible. I personally think he'll be closer to the latter, but we'll see.

so the bears getting the best TE in the draft, hester on offense and kick returns, and a more experienced rexy makes the O worse? thats pretty good logic

Rex=suck
Hester on Offense = no improvement (he cant run routes worth a bleep)
TE wont make any difference with Rex throwing to him

Bears will still win the NFC North with ease

As stated earlier Hester is most dangerous on offense as a decoy and Rex does not suck. He man played his first full season and helped take his team to the Super Bowl, jesus you guys have high expectations. Olsen has proven already to be a dynamic TE and can block, run extremely crisp routes and has outstanding hands. Watch out for dem BEARS!

Rex does suck. End of story. There is no debate.

Someone with sense.

you do realize that the entire offense is bad, and simply benching Rex isn't going to fix anything right?

receivers drop passes, don't finish routes
RB's fumble
O line can't pick up a blitz
Rex tries to make things happen and throws picks.
Griese won't make a difference, Orton won't make a difference.

Olsen was in on 2 plays, made 2 catches, and was 6 inches from a TD. He is going to be great, just needs to get in the game

You are right, I should blame the entire offense because Chokeman threw into triple coverage. WTF was I thinking?

Grossman sucks, even the coach has come to terms with this.

so Rex caused benson's fumble? He cause Berrian to drop a TD pass? Caused Moose and Berrian to give up on their routes? Yeah, i guess so, makes sense with your logic. Quit reading/regurgitating rex bashing articles and come up with an original thought.

i'm not arguing that he doesn't make some bad decisions, but to blame the entire O's struggles on him is stupid.

LOL did you see the last interception in the Dallas game? Literally, he threw into triple coverage. You can spread the blame all you want but the fact is Rex is horrible and they will not be winning a super bowl with him. ever.

I don't even need to regurgitate and article when a guy had a game with a rating of 0 and 3 games when it was less than 40.

Hey how's that Tony Romo guy doing btw? Garcia? How do you think Leftwich would be doing?

^^ seems to me we got to the superbowl with him, and the D gave up the game by letting the Colts run up the middle all day.

You still make no argument, he threw a bad pass into coverage, it got picked. So has every QB to ever play the game. The Rb's have 3 fumbles in 3 games, receivers are garbage, ST messed up a couple times. So again, blaming him for everything is pure stupidity. But enjoy your ride on the Bash Rex Bandwagon, i'll admit its the easiest way to sound like you know anything these days.

I don't know what you're getting at. Yes, the rest of the offense is bad too. The wide receivers are nothing special, Cedric Benson is a bust, the offensive line isn't what it used to be. But Rex Grossman is still the worst starting QB in the NFL.

my point is that people are stupid for putting 100% blame on him. that is all. People need to stop repeating whatever the tools on NFL live say and actually watch a game.

I'm also not denying the fact that we will need a new QB unless he has a magic turn around (and it looks like a new RB).

Nobody is placing 100% of the blame on him, but he deserves quite a bit of it. True, his receivers dropped some passes this past game, but Rex has been all over the place. He can't seem to find any consistency and, when he's responsible for a huuuge percentage of your offense, he deserves a large portion of the blame when the team can't generate any points.

You really are stupid... There is no way around that, I will try to slow *my point* down for you.

My comments were directed at Rex Grossman and *his* performance. We dont have to repeat what commentators say, or even come up with something original about him since most of us saw the game last night. All talk aside, I have seen 2 bears games this season on TV and watched the recap on sports center for the other game. I dont even have to check his stats so far this season to see that he is a joke. The blame is on him for his terrible performance, he is the QB and the leader of the bears offense. That being said, lets look at this stats so far this season:

47comp
89att
52.8PCT
500YDS
5.6yd/att
52lng
1TD
6INT
9SACKS
45.2Quarterback rating.

Out of 34 he is 33rd worst quarterback starting in the NFL right now.

Did i miss something else ric1287?

the point would be he OFTEN makes decisions like that when other NFL QB's make them RARELY.

As far as the knowing anything comment, if you are ok with rex being your QB then it is obvious you know nothing about football.
