Hit some new numbers. I kinda knew I wouldn't get the 170, but stubbornly went for it anyway. It was actually pretty damn close - if I'd done a lighter set like 150 instead of the 160, I might have gotten it. Oh well, next time. Still pretty happy with the results.

Thanks. 165.6 this morning...juuust missed a BW press. The collars had to be .3lbs each....right?

Goddamnit, quit with the big presses. I can overhead press almost what you can, but am nowhere near where you are for bench. I hit 200 for 2 today, which is a PR and felt pretty good about. Damn you Solid lift, man.

PR on bench - 300 was close, not quite. When I hit my old PR (290) I weighed 175, vs 166.4 yesterday, so pretty solid. I think I need to adjust my feet positioning though, my ass is barely scraping the bench which is a no-no.

I did my boring rehab squats today as well, and managed to do 135x5x3 without any pain or tightness, then or now, a few hours later. First time I've gone over 100 in awhile. A good sign, but still a long way to go.

Kind of an off day. Chinups are holding relatively steady. On one hand, that's frustrating. On the other hand, I've gained about 15lbs since I hit that PR for the chinup contest, so holding steady actually means going up.

Something didn't feel right. My right tricep was oddly tight on the extension of each rep. Considering I was at my normal gym without a spotter, figured it was best to call it a day. Better than hurting something 3 weeks out from a meet.
