Hi,
I'm tryin to figure out what to format my raid5 partion in terms of NTFS partition size. I noticed that on my old 300GB drive a 53GB of data (one of my folders) took up "54GB size on disk." But when I transfer this 53GB to a 500GB drive I'm borrowing from my buddy it says "size on disk 63GB". And as far as I can tell I have no idea how to determine what sector size was used for either drive. I am however 100% certain that I used "default" when formatting the 300GB drive.
So, ideally I'd love to duplicate the 300GB sector size on my 900GB raid5 partition, but I have no idea what sector size was used!
Can someone who perhaps knows what size was used for 300GB, please help/post!
Thanks,
Lx
