Dell 1905FP vs. Samsung 940B

I'm looking at these two monitors for my first LCD display. I can find them both for about the same price ($330), and I was wondering which do you guys prefer?

I'd use the monitor primarily for games, like FEAR, COD2, and COV, and I heard the 940B is really really good and the Dell...well...was sorta ambiguous. But I also heard that the 940B is an 6-Bit panel, and the Dell was an 8-Bit.

Blah! I can't decide! Please help!

Well, if you have not bought a monitor yet. The ONLY downsides to the 1905P is lack of DVI input and the 25MS response. Other than that I just compared my 940B to my buddies 1905P and the 1905P was hands down nicer to look at.

Neither of us are super gamers and mostly are on the net or doing some other comp work.

I have the Dell 1905FP, it's a fine monitor.

I'm a samsung fan myself . I love my 730B(not the miserable BF), and it's just about the same as the 930B (except for size). the 940B just has some improvements. I would say get the samsung.

Any idea how the Samsung 740N compares to the 730B I see at various retailers?
