I'd like to also say that every time I open the Dell case, it impresses me. I took the time to install a DVD-ROM from my old machine today as well, and it's just very obvious that the design was well thought through - such as the screws needed for installing a drive in the bay are screwed into the bay cover for storage. Good stuff.

And, a bit off topic, but my BFG 7800GT has a very annoying intermittent buzz to it. It's the fan, which I know because I stopped it from turning and it stopped the buzzing. That's annoying, but only a minor inconvenience as I was planning to buy an aftermarket cooler to bring my 9150 back down to its previous silent status.

Someone told me today that the 9150 + 2405 deal was back on, so I hope my ramblings helped somebody decide one way or the other.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking of following up on this deal as well. Did it come with the GForce 7800GT? If not, what did you do with the stock video card?

Nooo, it definitely didn't come with the 7800GT! It came with an ATI Radeon X300 SE, which was fine for 2D operations but was unable to drive many 3D games at full 1920x1200 resolution.

I haven't done anything with my X300, I took it out last night and put it in the 7800 box.

hey guys, this is my first post and anand tech, so pretty excited.!! lol

anyways, i am in the process of buying the 9150 and i do not want to buy the 7800 gtx from dell because i am want to buy it from BFG or somewhere else, i would instead get the x300 or x600 with it.

I dont know if dell will change the motherboard or power supply to the 9150 just because i am buying a lower end video card. I wanted to know If i can later buy the 7800gtx or 7900gtx and not have to worry about getting extra power supply or a new mother board. or any other upgrade just caue i am getting this x300.

Otherwise I would just go and buy the 7800 gtx rite away from dell itself.
