dell laptop battery compatibility

I would like to get a 2nd battery (8cell) for my inspiron 8200.

Does dell have a specific model/part number of battery for inspiron 8200?
or will all inspiron compatible batteries do?
or will all batteries running at the same volt work? (provided they fit in the modular bay)

Where did you get that list of compatible batteries? My work laptop is a C600 (1691P) and I've had a terrible time getting a quality battery.
