Dell Monitor Replacement Policy

Hi guys,

I just got a Dell 2405FPW but the dvi connection is faulty, it goes into standby and wont come out when you just gently tug at it.

I'm still under the 21 day replacement policy but was wondering something.

Do they send you a refurbished replacement or a brand new one? I'd be pretty upset if they send me a used monitor...

If it's withing the initial 21 days since purchase they should send you a NEW replacement. I would insist on it. You can always return it for a refund and then buy another one if you want a legal workaround. However, I don't think you'll have a problem.

they will send you a new one; it happened to me and I was happy with the replacement

It's the luck of the draw. They could send you either new or refurb.
