I noticed on gotapex.com yesterday that they had the Dell Dimension 4700 with free 19" LCD for $479 after $100 MIR and free shipping. When I glanced through the options I noticed the 1905FP would only cost $50 more. So, you would basically be getting the computer for $529-$287=$242.

Computer headline was:
Dimension 4700 with 2.8Ghz Pentium 4 520 HT, 256MB DDR2 SDRAM, 40GB HD, 48x CD-ROM for $479 after Rebate with FREE 19" LCD and FREE Shipping!

I would imagine if you part that out and include a copy of WinXP the system would be the better deal wouldn't it?

A resourceful individual could probably sell the computer part for more than $242 and get the monitor for less than $287. The processor alone goes for $175.
