Not necessarily...just beware. (and check the monitor carefully)

The life limiting part in those is the backlight. You might want to look up the procedure for checking the number of backlight hours. Some of the early ones, if used in a 24/7 environment, could very well be well over 10k hours of use, which is basically territory for backlight bulb failure.
