Anyone know Dell's procedure on their warranties?

If I buy a brand new monitor off someone and it has a 3yr warranty, does that warranty go with me even though I wasn't the original buyer??

Is their warranty process for panels different than for desktops and laptops?

I ask because I'm thinking of buying 18 monitors that are new in box. A company bought them and now changed mind. Will I have any warranty though?

In India, all you need is the bill or serial number based on company policy.

Dell makes it easy to transfer the warranty and ownership of certain Dell products from one owner to another owner and from one country to another. The transfer process can take up to 10 business days (domestic transfer) and up to 15 business days (international transfer).
Please note not all product types and service contract types are available for transfer outside of Purchase Country. Please review this list for the most common service contract types that are non-transferable.

You need invoice. Usually if you buy the monitor with pc you just give them the service tag of the pc and it's cover under the pc umbrella

Because monitors do not have service tag. You need invoice/receipt

You also need to check. If its purchase w/o pc the warranty may only be 1 year
