Dell XPS m1330 review

I just got my hands on this baby. It's very light and durable. Very sexy and sleek design. Slot-load DVD burner is nice. 13.3" LED screen... OMG it's so bright and vibrant. I like the fingerprint reader option (instead of typing out passwords on emails, log-ins, etc... i just scan my finger). It's got touch-sensitive media buttons. It's got "hot spot" wireless sensors which tells you if you're in a wireless hot spot without booting up windows. HDMI port, 3 usb's, 8400 GS vid card, Santa Rosa, wireless remote control, webcam, dual microphone, 2 headphone jacks, high-quality creative in-ear headphones ($50 at amazon), bluetooth, Wireless N (1000mb/sec transfer). Around 5.5 hr battery life.

If you're thinking to buy light, portable notebook that comes with a lot of power, look no further. m1330 is your answer.

I like my 13.3" Macbook but have been craving something with more power so that I can play games. And sicne most all the games I play only run in Windows, I have been looking at the XPS1330. It looks good, it appears to have a decent amount of power, and I like the 13" form factor. I am still up in the air though between it and a new MacBook Pro.

How much did yours end up costing? And are the graphics really that good? because I heard bad things about the geforce 8400GS. And how do you buy through your university page? I will be starting at UCLA this fall and I still haven't figured out how to do that.

looking at the macbook pro myself. the thing is sweet! haha my purchase will be based on starcraft 2, and it's playability on laptops of this class though. that asus gaming laptop is pretty damn sweet too. i hope more info on sc2 comes out soon.

wonder if the m1330 will be able to handle it.
