Yes X definite issues...

Just visited planetfeedback and see I'm in the majority of dissatified dell consumers.
Glad I found this out before I pulled the trigger.
I would not purchase a screw or anything else from a reprehensible, despicable company such as DELL

Maybe troll was the wrong word... how bout forum challenged? If you don't want people to think you are a troll don't post ridiculous crap like you did. There was 1 informational post and the rest was crap, there was no humor in it unless the person reading it was a mental midget.

This thread went from mildly retarded to just plain annoying rather suddenly. I think it deserves a lock.

lol... the first one was kinda funny.. the 7th one was too much.

I just ordered a T41 2379DJU for just above 2K with the Thinkpad Protection. Not bad I think.

How is Dell being deceptive?

You click on Laptops. Click on Recommended systems, and low and behold one of them is a base system. Click customize, and you get to a base system configuration. This person posted an opinion, people corrected him, and he keeps posting literally crap to bump the thread up to the top for no good reason. Not only that, but he accuses everyone who disagrees with him a Dell employee.

i'm with this guy on this one, explain the powerstrip thing? Another thing that bothers me about dell is how they have a pet peeve about having a CD-RW in the top tray and another CD-RW in the bottom, like i want a CD-RW in top and a DVD-RW/CD-RW bottom, but it won't let me, what gives? all my systems are that way and their fine, try and configure a dell with a burner in the top and their website throws a temper tantrum.

--There site is hard to navigate, so the guy is right. He might be exagerating, but ur dumb if u can't see it (the exageration) and then you people are throwing a hissy fit at him for saying what he claims is not true... ughh

Go configure a Lattitude D600 and you'll see what he is talking about.

Now from
$1,249
[After $150 Instant Savings and $100 Mail-In Rebate]
Limited time offer.

Then you get to configuring... ends up like 1900 before rebates...

It's fairly difficult to get it to 1249. Given that is the lowest possible price. I don't think it is anything legally wrong, but it is extrememly annoying. But most of all IMO all of the crap they want to sell you with it. hmm... let's throw in a 800 dollar digital camera at the last minute. Not that they check it for you but it is annoying to be forced to look at it.
