I wasn't excited about it, but you are definitely wrong. It was a great speech and symbolic of passing the torch forward. Sometimes you need to acknowledge your roots.

Politics is also performative. And while some of the theater may be a little cynical to some of us, including myself, it's part of the process. And I believe the energy of the Democrats is truly heartfelt. I have said my fair share of criticism of Joe Biden, and the establishment, And I stand by it , it he was not ready for this race ,and while some of this is definitely a lot of showmanship, I think deep down it's actually pretty heartfelt, and I applaud what was said tonight in the speeches that I saw.

I tuned into ABC because they laid into Donald the other night concerning his disrespect for the military. They didn't hold back and I don't think I've seen another network do that. Medals of Honor, his heel spurs, his calling people who fight suckers and losers, his dissing John McCain, the whole nine yards.

But before things got going tonight I hit the wrong button and found myself on CBS at 7:36 PDT. Whoops. So after it completed I went (just a few minutes ago) to YT and watched AOC, Jamie Rankin and Hillary Clinton. I liked every speech, TBH, including his daughter, Rev./Senator Warnock. Great stuff. AOC's really something. Joe was pretty good.

Steve Kerr just spoke.. He used Curry's night night move at the end of his speech 😁

Props to Kerr, he was cool, message spot on. His dad was a public servant, assassinated in Beirut IIRC.
