So you don't want Bernie to be President because he's too nice?

If she's roughly equal to Repubs why do they hate her so desperately, just like you?
Do you even read what he says? or have you sunken to yet another new low where you just reply to people with a vilifying label that you gave them cause they don't want to vote for your corporate kiss ass?

It's clear to anyone with basic reasoning he supports Bernie, damn, I just walked myself through why you can't figure out who he supports.

Quite the contrary, I would vote for a socialist that is kept in check by checks and balances before I vote for a moron that wants to either nuke the rest of the world and send ground troops into every country.
That isn't enough.. you have to either be 100% with him, or you are 100% against him. Just like his secret republican friends.

Bernie will need some debate coaching. He was clearly under-prepared against Hillary 1 on 1. His closing statement about most pressing need of the nation was reduced to campaign finance reform.. I thought it was income inequality.

I'm not seeing a lot of substance in the replies so far but I missed the first thirty minutes of the debate. Has there been anything of substance so far or is this been a debate about who is more progressive?

Seems like a lot of blustering but I'm not hearing much on actual policy. They are both doing a good job of highlighting the issues but I need more.

In a sense it is a repeat of 2008, except that Bernie is not as well-rounded as Obama and that Hillary is better prepared. I see very few substantial policy differences between them.

On death penalty Bernie is categorically opposed to it and Hillary is not. That is just about the only difference on issue.

I see the flint water issue was brought up. Was this brought up in the Republican debate?

Hillary might have closed me on the the question about creating or closing government agencies. Her answer was that she's is for making government more efficient and she wants to look at all of government and get rid of redundancy. That to me is the correct answer to the question. That is how you make government smaller and less wasteful. It's an idea conservatives should support of they truly care about the size of government.

I also thought her answer about the death penalty was spot on.

I watched the debate. The next president was not in the room, for the reasons I'll state:

1. Bernie - He is not going to get any of his free stuff through current congress, or any congress in the future, as long as we have a 19 trillion dollar national debt. It's ridiculous to think it's even possible. The young supporters don't understand that what he is selling will never come into fruition, because he and they both don't understand the economics involved. It's a false platform he's running on.

2. Hillary- a lying witch, is a lying witch, is a lying witch. She doesn't handle heat with grace and she proved that in this last debate. She speaks out against Wall St and Big Pharma, while her hand is out behind her accepting their money. She is a hypocrite and all the shit she is telling us, is what she thinks she needs to say to get votes, not who she really is. She's as pro war as any Republican and she was in favor of the Iraq war. She's far right of Democrat values, when you strip her down.

The reality is, the Democrats don't have a candidate in the race, with any chance of getting elected. The wrong people are in the race. Shame on the DNC.

Ted Cruz doesn't lie?
Donald Trump doesn't lie?
Marco Rubio doesn't lie?

When does Hilary tell the truth is a better question?

Shes against wall street money, but will take millions of it
Shes against universal health care one week, for it the next.
Southern event? Time to pull out the fake southern drawl

Man, you really need to quit taking your dose from partisan news sites. Listen to the candidates, listen to what they say, then compare that to their archived records. Hillary has plenty of archived records out there. Funny thing about the internet....it is not very forgetful.

Man, when did people get so lazy they need websites to tell them how much politicians lie? I spend more brainpower picking out which two-ply to buy than it takes to figure out how much Hillary and her republican cousins are full of sh!t.

Yes. That's how we know that Trump, Cruz. and (to a lesser extent) Rubio are such yuuuuuge liars. Funny that you seem to be oblivious to that, in spite of your superior Internet-fu. Perhaps that's because while the Internet may not forget, it will also lie its ass off for you if you're determined to remain disinformed.

watching Bernie on foreign policy is like watching my cat trying to do my taxes.

Q: How long would you leave troops in Afghanistan as President?
A: Iraq, ISIS, something something mooslims.

Yeah I was cringing when he avoided that question, twice. I don't like it when politicians don't answer the question asked. If you pay attention, the GOP almost never actually answers the question. They just deflect to some semi-related hot-button talking point. I was disappointed to see the same shit from Bernie.

Hillary just seems so much more informed about all the details involved in most of these policies. Even the policies spearheaded by Bernie. I just wish I knew for sure how trustworthy she is.

Bernie does have one really big thing going for him though, and that is his ability to turn out the vote. THAT is what we need to help sweep the shit out of Congress.

To be fair, on what points are you calling Trump a liar? He calls people names. He smarmily asks, "Is Ted Cruz a Canadian? I don't know, but..."

To be a liar, you actually have had to make positive, irrefutable statements.

I know you are being facetious but check out the politifact link above. 1 out of 5 statements that they rated of his were pants-on-fire.

Um maybe you could find some here

I do want to say I am glad in some way Trump is running he's kept the PAC money on the sidelines and proven you don't have to do silly things to poll well like:
Kiss babies
Serve BBQ in Iowa
Have a tour of a building project on camera with a hardhat on or holding a wrench, shovel or any other construction tool
Go to some sporting even he doesn't give a crap about
Visit an elementary school to talk with the kids

Which still means the chances of you voting for either Dem hopeful are pretty much zero.

I'd vote for Bigfoot if he rode in on a unicorn rather than his rival the Yeti who wants to eat babies.
