had a fellow over at dfi tell me that I could have some problems with the zalman 9500 interferring with the ram dimms on the board. Can anyone verify this? My options are either the 9500 or the typhoon.

Buying a combo from monarch and can substitute an aftermarket hs. Would be cheaper and better performance if i go this route....

I installed a AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego in mine and figured I would buy an aftermarket HS/F alittle later on. The retail HS/F does a fine job 1.4v @ 2.75 gig 41c encoding video all day long. I know its not a answer to your ? but its something to think about. I dont think any of the 939 chips run real hot. oh yea and I have that fan temp controlled to run at full speed at 45c so it s not even running at full speed, I think it runs around 3300 RPM very quiet

looks fine to me. i suppose you could have issues if you used all 4 dimms but that would just be if you were moving ram around alot.
