DI-624 slips again...

Setup:
DI-624 (F/W C2)
DWL-G650 (F/W B2)
DWL-G520 (F/W B1)
Comcast Cable
Motorola SB5100

Default setup, no WEP/WPA, or firewalls.

Problem
On all 3 desktops and 1 laptop, the internet seems to drop connection every 10 minutes or so. It disconnects for 10 seconds and connects again. Signal strength is excellent on all computers so this is pretty weird.

I have:
-Disconnected my 2.4ghz phone
-Even my microwave
-Installed the latest drivers for all products

Does anyone have a solution? It's frustrating...

Thanks

What drivers are you using? Which WiFi cards?

My modem lights stay solid (which is good). Must be the router rebooting every couple of minutes, but why?

No driver for the 624

I did the 108 meg firmware update on the 624 I believe in early January when they came out with that rev.

I use the PC Card version in the laptop not USB if that makes a difference I don't know.

The Status and WLAN LEDS on the 624 blinks at a steady 1 sec interval opposite of each other like a Railroad Crossing.

The WAN LED stays solid but blinks in concert with the wired ports when there is activity on any of those ports with those PC's.

The only thing that may be different in my setup from everyone else is that my 624 is not the primary login to my ISP, in other words it is just receiving IP traffic from my Zoom DSL Modem that has a Router built into it and it also is what is logged into my ISP for me.

It's sounding to me like there may be something wrong with the portion of the 624 that handles (PPPoE engine) staying logged into an ISP. Possibly low in power or something since people are describing the unit re-booting. Maybe they changed suppler on the Power Transformer and it is not supplying enough current for the unit? Clearly there is something different and with my unit being solid there shows that it is possible to have a solid unit. This is baffling no doubt.

Strange...

Now everything seems to be working fine. Maybe it was the rainy weather?? My laptop (using DWL-G650) and main desktop (DWL-G520) stay connected without issues.

Anyway, DLINK has released a new Firmware 2.37 for Rev. C that supposedly fixes connectivity issues. I just upgraded so I'll be testing it with time.

Thank you for the lengthy answer. I will further examine the lights!

I upgraded to the 2.37 last night. I had to unplug the cable I had plugged in to WAN port or the Netwrok would go into a broadcast strom and comes to a halt with all the Leds across my switches, the router and the DSL Modem going crazy. Just have a cable plugged into one of the 4 regular ports and everything is fine.
