Seeing that you have your money back (and I'm assuming haven't returned your $100 GC), what are you suggesting is appropriate for damages, HumblePie?
What do you need a brain for? Obviously you aren't using yours correctly.
Who cares what the item was that I purchased. It could have been a kayak order they decided not fulfill out of sympathy of a random canoeing shooting that occurred. Who cares about the details of the item. The problem is they took my money in promise to fulfill an order. Once money has exchanged hands, a legal contract is accepted by both parties. Barring something massively out of their control for being unable to fulfill the order they are legally bound by law to do so.
Nobody NEEDS a Hummer or a 70" HDTV either. And?
We are America and we like going over the top. Frankly the world liked us better when we did so without apologies and just embraced what we are. Many took inspiration from it, most of the world flocked to our movies where it was on full, even exaggerated display.
I say, fuck the third world. Cut off all aid, we only create more starving, breeding people who will eventually try to move here and suck even more directly from the teat, while dragging us down and filling our streets with crime.
The only aid we should offer the third world is acting as an example of what they might be if they got their shit together.
Feeding them has only increased suffering, their warlords steal the money and now there are more of them starving and getting diseases. The planet suffers, already too many people and more importantly too many of the wrong people.
Rain forests suffer, animals suffer... I'd rather see every human in Africa die of starvation than chimps and gorillas go extinct as bush meat.
Everyone ignores you, until you start a thread.
He stopped replying when I dug deeper into his mental anguish story. I have a feeling he will drop it. Maybe his lawyer advised him as well. I think whatever goodwill Troy throws his way he will take and move on. The mental anguish thing was the only BS I saw in his complaint.
Great question. HumblePie?
Doesn't sound like they plan to honor the price.

Didn't ignore it. I've stated it was a possibility I could add to the lawsuit. It still is. Doesn't mean it will be won, but something that could be added. And if argued correctly it could be won. But ONLY because of the reasons I outlined previously. Why should I even bother responding when you are just looking to troll like you have been. The whole point of this thread was to inform others of the illegal actions DSG has taken thus far. That I was going to pursue all legal recourses in their proper order until it was resolved. If that means DSG turns around and says, "Sorry, here's your item sir" and hands me what I originally paid for, I'm perfectly fine and happy with that. If they don't, but the manufacturer does it out of good will then I'll be happy with Troy for sure. Perhaps a more annoyed with DSG, but the matter will be resolved. If neither of those two scenario's happens within the next 30 days, since that is the time frame after I had my lawyer yesterday send a letter to DSG, then I'll pursue litigation. By then it may be a class action. At which point I may have to decide if I join the class action or not. If not, I go at it on my own and pursue for the maximum amount I can get. That has been the plan since the beginning.
Everyone else, including yourself, seems to want to be whiny trolls and bash me over trying to stick with the law. Most of the posters here are grossly misinformed, especially many of those pretending to be lawyers. If DSG does not fulfill their end of the contract and their reasonings for not doing so is because they don't want to anymore, then I have a very solid case against them for litigation. Actually, it is 100% case. I've stated this several times in the thread.
Not all posts against you are trolling. Some people want to understand why you decided to pursue the mental anguish angle. I was one of them. You are becoming overly sensitive and putting people into two camps... supporters and trolls. That is false.

still don't see why you need an AR15
always had bad service at D***'s. staff never seemed interested in helping. then again, its probably because i'm brown. anyway, still don't see why you need an AR15
Because I stated from the beginning how and why with links and explanations. Mental anguish, and if my lawyer agrees is feasible, would stem from the fact the product was a gift for the holiday season and may be the only time left ever in my lifetime to do so. By DSGs intentional actions, they have failed to let me have that moment in time that has forever passed me by. Much as the wedding dress scenario I posted in a previous link. There is a reasonable basis, but it may not be enough on it's own to be arguable in court. Although awards for similar actions put forth have won before as well as lost before. There is case law showing both outcomes for this. It's really not that hard a concept to grasp like the first 4 times I explained it.
And as I stated previously, if I have to seek litigation as my last recourse, I WILL go for the most allowable under law.
And yes, you have trolled in this thread. Others have trolled far more than you, but you are guilty of it too here. Some people were genuinely interested in the actual details, such as waggy, despite their initial reaction where they stated I should not seek legal redress. Then when they learn the details, they change their minds. Waggy was not an initial supporter or my story, but he wasn't a troll and was willing to hear out all the details.
Others, like Corporate Thug and Outhouse, were trying to be more sophisticated trolls. I had to literally explain, with several other people helping me, 6 times why my sale in this case is considered a binding contract to Outhouse.
