I overclocked my cpu to 1200 mghz, now my computer won't boot up at all, won't even recognise my floppy, I tried to clear the cmos, but still nothing, any Ideas?
Try leaving the CMOS clear jumper off (Or set to the clear position) for a while. Also, unplug the PC when you do this. If you can, try the cpu in another PC. Do a search for an article on called "the issue" (With the quotes). That may be the problem.
You might have lost your powersupply. Relax. Are you getting any video out put at all? And are you able to get into bios and change things to stock configuration?
ummm...i don't have an A7V133...so i don't know which Asus board has that weird process for reseting your CMOS. You have to short something with two contact points.
I dont really know what happened @ your PC, but i think i had the same experience as your. I had a duron 600 o/c to 700 and when i tried to push it 1 mhz beyond 700, i have no video signal and computer wont boot up, fans spin though. I kept boting and after ON-OFF-ON-OFF...for like 100 times around 15 min (thank god i was watching tv) and manage to get it running again. I tried couples of o/c beyond 700 before i realize this synthom kept happening and i think this baby has reach its limitation. Hope this might help.
That happened to my teachers computer...everything else was working...hd light was except for the monitor and there's no beeps. It turned out to be a burnt mobo and videocard...i don't know about the ram. it would help if you have extra parts lying around that maybe you can substitute to isolate the problem.
