Did Staples Screw me?

I think Staples screwed me but cant be sure. I ordered the Viewsonic E90f from them and
when it arrived the box looked awful. It was blackened with dirt and the top was opened
and the bottom was partially opened as wellThis didnt bother me a first until i plugged it in.
When in standby mode it emits a high squeal. Did I get an open box item? Or is this all just coincidental?
I'm going back this weekend to return it but just wanted to see what everyone else thought of the
situation.

But, it's really not a big deal or a question of whether Staples screwed you.
If you are taking it back, take it back - end of story!
You'll only be getting screwed if they DON'T take it back!!

You can guess all you want as to if it's an "open box", a "return", etc,
but if they exchange it for a new one, then you don't really have a gripe.

If it's such a waste of your precious time you should actually read the post title before you look at a post. It is obvious from the post title that it is not a hot deal and if your time is so valuable you shouldn't read the post, let alone, REPLY to the post. Get a life.

ONE MORE THING- the only ppl who should criticize should be those that go to the rebates, or IWanna threads or Brag &Moan Threads to help out folks...... As the saying goes- thou onest of thine claim the cleanest, should cast the first stone.........I know i don't so I just ignore when somebody posts something like the above!

I would imagine it would hurt a lot if little metal barbs meant to be used in a stapler tried to violate my bad place. So if your rear is a little sore, then you know you've been screwed by staples.
