So I've decided to invest my first paycheck into a nice digital camera... My parents recently got the Powershot S400, and I think the camera is great. I've got much faith in Canon.
So now I'm pretty set on either the S230 or the SD100.. cuz 3.2MP is fine for me.. and I prefer it over the A series which I guess uses AA batteries and just doesn't look as nice. My question is.. mostly everywhere I look, like Dell or Pricegrabber, the SD100 is more common and slightly cheaper than the S230. However... SD memory cards are more expensive than CF cards. I wanna keep the camera price under 300, and spend as little as I can on accessories.. maybe 128 or 256 more memory would be it for me. Anybody have experience with these cameras and prefer one over the other? Or have a reason about CF vs SD which one is better?
Any input appreciated.. thanks!
