'deluxe' frozen pizzas are basically the cost of cheap chain pizzas now, so I don't bother.

The deluxe frozens are about $6. A pizza from a chain is $10 + 2 tip + 2 delivery fee + 1 tax. $15 total for delivery.

The frozens are still much a better deal.

yeah, i don't even bother defending anything around here. most people make their own gourmet pizzas or have the worlds best pizza shop (mom and pop, of course) right next to their house. so hard to compete with all these people better off than me.

Pizza is a convenience food for me, so I'm not going to shit on anyone's preferences. There is a good, authentic Neapolitan place up the block but I don't love pizza that much to be there too often.

The above is only a bit strange because I'm Italian. I'm genetically predisposed to loving pizza.

Not where I live. Picking up a "hot and ready" from Little Caesers on the way home from whatever I was doing is $5 + tax.

Delivery isn't really value pizza.

When eating frozen pizzas, you have to accept the fact that they are not going to be chain or local shop quality. If you can accept that, then the pizza becomes less horrible.

However, usually it is cheaper and quicker. DiGiorno's usually go for ~$5 at local groceries near me.

Also, overstuffing on GOOD pizza is ok. Overstuffing on something like DiGiorno's is BAD. lol

And cold pizza that was once hot/fresh is awesome.
