Digital Camera Suggestions

I have bout $250 to spend on a camera. If theres sumthing way better for a little more shout it out. I am thinking about buying the Canon Powershot A70. I just want a nice shutter speed and all the regular stuff. Give me sum suggestions. I also wondered whats the difference in all the media. (Xd card, Sd, Compact flash, memory stick) which is best, is one faster loading or sumthing. Please help me out. Thanks.

This is really a computer board, not a camera forum. I'm certain there are entire online communities out there devoted to cameras, where you would probably get a much better response to your question.

Also check out DPreview.com. They have good comparisons and reviews. Also, there message forums have a lot of digital camera information. If you had not included the part about the $250 limit, I would say go with the Nikon D70 :camera:.
