Dinner Music

I need to make a cd of dinner music for a retirement party, but have no idea what constitutes good dinner music. All I know is that it needs to be rather calm and preferably instrumental. Any suggestions?

Yeah, some nice jazz or good classical. Find a string quartet cd or something.
