Disaster with Abit bx6r2!!

I recently upgraded to a celeron 633 on my bx6r2 and it ran fine for awhile. I took the chip out to change fans and now I get no POST. the peripherals turn on but I get no video output or beeps or anything. I have already taken it apart once and I'll do it again as the night goes on. Anyone have any idea what my problem might be? I've tried two cpu's so most likely it isn't that. Cleared CMOS dozens of times with nothing. Tried everything I could think of, anyone got ideas?

Might wanna try this: Unplug the power supply cord, pull out the atx connector, Clear the cmos again, and while you have it jumpered to clear, pull the battery for about 30 secs..... change your jumper back... atx connector in,etc.... it may help, as it worked for me once.

I had a similar experience with my ABIT BX6-Revision 2.0 motherboard in the summer of 2000.
I finally gave up and bought an ASUS CUSL2 to replace the ABIT BX6-Revsion 2.0 motherboard.
A few months later I tried out the ABIT BX6-Revision 2.0 motherboard again and it worked.
The ABIT BX6-Revision 2.0 motherboard is still working in my back-up home computer.
I have heard of other people having the exact same problem with the ABIT BX6-Revision 2.0
motherboard also.
My assumption is that there is some common electrical open circuit problem with those motherboards.

I've actually had problems similar to this before but it's always magically come back to life at some point. Back to praying I guess

Been there myself.
Have ya tried holding down insert key when hitting power switch?
May take 4-5 times, also drain power supp. between each cycle,
(unplug or turn off at ps switch and hit case power button)
OR a ps/2 keyboard if using usb, and or no keyboard or mouse at all.
This has only happened to me when r+r the same cpu.

Just tried that, no luck. Thanks for all of your help, I guess this ppro200 with 64 megs of ram isn't THAT bad
