Hi there,
I use the onboard NIC (Marvel). My computer spec is listed in my sig.
Here is the problem. I do not remember what I did to my computer but I don't think I made any major changes to it since 2 days ago. For the past 2 days, I've been getting this problem every 3 hours. Here is exactly what happens when it occurs.
My taskbar shows my LAN being disconnected (even tho the modem is on consistantly and my DSL modem is connected directly to my NIC). Then Windows detects something is connected to my NIC but after 5 minutes of trying to renew my IP, it gave me the "Limited connectivity" problem. I have to restart my computer to get this problem fixed.
Back then (like 3 days ago), I didn't have such a problem and my computer could be kept on constantly without being disconnected from the internet for over a month. I had such a problem with my old PC before and reformatting+reinstalling Windows solved the problem. However, I want to see if there is something I can fix within windows to fix this problem without having to reformat and reinstall all the crap I have.
Thanks for helping in advance,
Darkconz.
