you could use a bucket but it would be very dangorus if it tips over the computers dead, and the water would evaporate quicker

after putting all that effort into the cooling system i personally wouldn't want a bucket sitting there, but i guess it would be possible. like the guy up there said, just don't kick it over. not sure if the evaporation thing is right.

try it running without your board and all that and see how it works?

can't i just have a looped system with a T clamp and run a tube from the T clamp section into a bucket of water. fill up the system and then close the passage way on the T clamp to the tube in the bucket?

i wanna make this look as uncluttered as possible.

is is possible to have just a heatercore, pump and cpu block. and that would be the loop

heatercore>>CPU>>pump>>heatercore.....

Sure you can just have a Tee line, a res just makes it a little easier to fill and eradicate air in the system.

that's why i suggested the bay mounted reservoir. ease of bleeding the system but tucked out of the way.

i see what you're trying to do now, i was uh, tired or something when i read your first post and were going to use a giant bucket as your reservoir and have it sitting beside the desk or something. i'm alright now tho, i swear. i think. maybe that is what you're going to do. maybe i just need more sleep.

Also water WILL dissapate over time from your system. The resorvior will keep it toped up.
