I don't believe in horoscopes and I don't read them. But that's typical for Capricorns.

I'm appalled by the sheer heresy on display here!

Listen, it's not hard. You don't need to read the horoscope of some astrologer. Believe in yourself and know your strengths and weaknesses based on your sun sign and Chinese zodiac sign and your numerological numbers. Make sure you know the other signs who are detrimental to your life and make every effort to avoid personal or business dealings with them. Here's a summary of what I know:

Your day of birth gives you a certain destiny. After 9th, you add the two digits, except 11 and 22 which are Master numbers. People born on 11th are Master Teachers (they will help to impart knowledge to tons of people, usually more than the typical teacher). 22nd born people are Master Builders who shape the future of humanity in some profound way like building a company etc. Other than these two, these are the basic types of people in the world based on their day of birth:

1: Very popular. Very competitive.

2: These have a knack for business. Can be philanderers.

3: Workaholics. Care insanely about their family.

4: They are known to achieve fame.

5: These tend to be the bridge between all the other people. They have a tendency to get addicted to stuff.

6: These people want harmony in the world and work towards this cause.

7: They have very successful careers but they are often unsatisfied with their family life.

8: These people can be problematic for everyone around them. Examples are Modi of India, Erdogan of Turkey etc. They can bring extreme fortune or misfortune with them and their actions. In personal life, they suffer a lot of tragedies which can be overcome somewhat if they get married.

9: These are public servants. They suffer through life, trying to help people in general. Their romantic life can be very hard.

That was the day. Let's move on to the Western Zodiac signs.

Capricorn: They have child like hobbies. They can be good leaders.

Aquarius: Make people laugh. Charming. Make good professionals.

Pisces: They can be real A-holes. Steve Jobs was one. I don't know any Pisces too well to really know what their good qualities are. I once read that they like to close their eyes and lose themselves in a kiss.

Aries: Math prodigies. Combative. They have a military mindset. Avoid upsetting them.

Taurus: They love food and romantic dinners. Steer clear of them when they are in a bad mood. Taurean girls can be a joy to be around. Taurean guys are pretty lucky with the ladies.

Gemini: Two faced liars. Exercise extreme caution dealing with them. They don't mean what they say and always cooking up some kind of plan in their minds to gain profit or an advantage. They love intellectual conversations. They don't hold grudges so feel free to mess with them. They will mostly forget and forgive. Personally I think it's coz they have bad memories and all the constant planning in their heads prevents their neurons from storing memories.

Cancerian: Very humanitarian people. They can be extremely jolly and fun to be around. Beware their dark moods. They prefer to be left alone when having one of those. Don't offend them or they will make sure to let you know the price of doing that.

Leos: They are the luckiest. Have an ego. Good leos can be a joy to deal with and bad ones are just awful so make sure you identify which type you are dealing with.

Virgos: They are perfectionists. Care wayy too much about financial matters.

Libras: Romantic idiots. Naive and gullible. Indecisive. They have a strong sense of fairness and justice. Expect some really strong words from them about any kind of injustice. They love to please their lovers. Enjoy things of beauty which of course includes females! They enjoy athletic pursuits.

Scorpios: These people can be passionately insane or insanely passionate, in almost any matter including sex. Tread with caution. Do not upset them.

Sagittarians: Generally friendly people. Don't get easily upset but if they do, you don't wanna be in the line of fire. However, they tend to cool down relatively easily.

Then we come to the Chinese zodiac signs based on the year of birth.

Rats: They are selfish and timid. They will use their social charms to get what they want. Generally well liked by everyone.

Ox: Hard workers. Don't upset them.

Tigers: They tend to be classy and unique.

Rabbits: They can be very handsome. But basically timid.

Dragons: Noble people. Don't make them angry.

Snakes: Charming. Don't wrong them or they WILL find a way to get back at you.

Horses: They can be pretty lucky and influential.

Goats: They seem to be gatekeepers of wealth and power. Will often try everything shady as long as it's not considered illegal to put their plans into motion and amass great wealth and power. Due to this, they can be very influential and often become philanthropists but in my personal opinion, they do that to make up for the damage they do to people who go against their plans.

Monkeys: Inventive. Like playing pranks on people.

Roosters: Outspoken people who are very committed to earning respect for themselves.

Dogs: People with generally the best human qualities. Just don't get them angry. You will remember their bite.

Pigs: Homebodies. Enjoy leisure and food. Don't share their problems with anyone and try to fix them on their own. Prone to doing damage if they get into powerful positions.

So suppose your date of birth is 3rd October 1980. This means you are a very hardworking, ambitious person who cares a lot about family. You are romantic in nature. Naive and gullible. Love beauty. Have a very inventive mind and like to play pranks. Suppose you were born on 30th instead. 3+0=3 so you are still 3 but you can also be 22+8 which means you have qualities of a Master Builder and the fortunate or unfortunate 8.

More interesting to me than astrology, which is kind of a seat of the pants snake oil affair, is the I Ching. It is imbued with ancient wisdom. I don't take throwing dice or runes and such seriously but reading the I Ching analyses of different circumstances (From the Wings and so forth) is illustrative of a frame of mind that is productive in conducting one's affairs.

Chinese Zodiac (the twelve animals) is also something ancient like that. How can I Ching tickle your fancy while Zodiac doesn't when both are ancient knowledge?

Similarly, Greek Zodiac signs are also ancient. Maybe we should stop believing in math too because the numbers as we know them were created in times when they had no scientists!

As for medical treatments, since I believe in God, I believe that He has always provided healers to humanity in every era for the human race to flourish.

Spoiler: An example. Be warned: this is not advice

a guy with chronic back issues (he's a former body builder) went to some remote place to see a guy who was supposed to be gifted. The healer told him to lie on his back. Then he felt his spinal discs with just his fingers. After a few moments, he points out a few places where he thinks there's a problem. Then he presses down hard on the discs. The guy hears loud crackling noises. Then the healer tells him to stand up. He does and his pain was greatly reduced. The healer told him to give up eating yogurt, chicken and fish.

Makes no sense, right? Well, my own experience: I had taken to eating yogurt with my dinner for several months. Mainly because it was fruit yogurt and I loved the taste. Few months later, I got a bulging disc which advanced to a ruptured disc after a year. I lost about 3 years of my life and who knows how much money trying to battle that dark period. I heard about this healer's advice after my back issue was mostly gone and I hadn't touched yogurt for a long time (my eating preferences and routine changes whenever something catastrophic happens to me health wise). Immediately, the first thing that went off in my mind was, that SOB fruit yogurt!

Now you can choose to laugh and think me gullible but I don't believe in coincidences.

I definitely believe in coincidences, and proper medical treatment, but also that doctors are like people in any job, some are better than others.

In my experience, few are better than most.

Spoiler: Two contrasting experiences

Experience 1: I had pain in my lower abdomen. The GP I saw didn't seem impressive (kinda young, not very talkative). He did a brief examination with his fingers, pressing down hard at the place I was complaining about and asked how much pain I felt. Then sent me off to get an ultrasound. Came back. He looked at it briefly then showed it to me and started explaining what I was seeing. Funny bit was, he was showing me voids in my intestine and told me these are pockets of gas and probably remarked in a serious tone something like "too much gas". I was dying from laughter inside but maintained my composure and listened intently. He finally concluded that it was probably some pulled muscle. I accepted it because I HAD been doing some intense push ups the other day.

Experience 2: I was suffering from excruciating back pain due to my ruptured disc. So I saw this young orthopaedic surgeon. He seemed intelligent. Pleasant welcoming personality. Greeted me warmly. Told me to try to bend over so he could assess how bad my back was. Then he told me that it was nothing bad. I said, but it hurts really bad. My disc is broken. And he's like, if it were serious, you would be immobile. Then he tells me cheerfully to take walks outside in the sun and maybe get a Vitamin D supplement and got rid of me.

You can imagine which experience I liked better.

We've never had no scientists, it's a matter of degree.

Dude, I never disparaged anybody's Zodiac signs, I know nothing about Greek Zodiac. I have studied the I Ching and its students' takes, and found those studies instructive. I find astrology (as seen in 20th century newspaper pages, that's my exposure) to be spurious beyond one size fits all, frankly.
