Anandtech (I believe) still gets to tally "web page views" ... essentially like "Sweeps Week" on TV.
Their ad space (I'm really guessing at all this) is priced based on the likely exposures presented to the general population (same with TV and people that Tivo the shows then block / FF through the commercials)
Anandtech isn't selling the advertisers so many guaranteed clicks, they're selling so many likely exposures to the user community, so even if you have ads blocked, they are still getting credit for page exposures.
