To all of those who say you don't click ads anyways:
Please Complete the following sentences:
It's not delivery, it's _______________.
You're not fully clean unless your _________ clean.
__________ does, what Ninten-don't!
Like a good neighbor, _____ ______ is there.
What is the phone number for Empire windows?
As you can see, this s**t gets ingrained in our head and thats what the advertisers pay anandtech for as much as for click throughs. I'm sure they have a way of seeing how many adds are actually viewed.

Once again, ad blocking is preventing the user from experiencing it. Companies pay anandtech so people can "experience" their adds, and if 2/3 of the forum is blocking ads, then the amount they may be a lot less than it could be.

There are forums where using an ad blocker is cause for ban.
Confused as to the desired effect of this thread. You claim to use ad blockers and on the other seem to be trying to make people feel guilty of taking advantage of the generosity of 'free' sites.Originally posted by: venkman

And, I only got the state farm one in the second poll - even have the musical diddy running though my head now - thanks.
