Mcdonalds was on my mind because I was in a focus group today testing an experimental burger from an "unknown" FF joint. I could tell by the look and feel it was Mickey Dees. It wasnt bad either especially for .99.

I normally avoid MCD except some mornings when Im in a hurrry for some coffee and a snack.

ps. I used for them in early 1987 for about a month. I thought, "never again" after I saw how the food was made. I also worked at Arbys in 1985 and Long John Silvers in 1988. LJS had the highest standards, Arbys the lowest.

My sister in law cut her finger off on one of the Arby's meat slicers back in the late 80's

my work leaves me with a lot of 30-60 second chunks of time where I'm waiting for something to load... not enough time to work on something else or read a long article, but a perfect amount of time to skim through a thread or jot off a quick reply.

Yeah, there are usually some slow blocks of time a work some days, or sometimes I post just to keep me more alert.

It helps that this site is one of the few not blocked by Websense.

almost never. i used to when i roamed around a lot and was by myself working on things...now im in an exposed area where what i do is easily seen, so i just browse tech and news sites to kill time, dont really read or post due to the NSFW nature of the place (And my own posting habits)
