Dodge Charger Concept Car

Not sure how many of you have seen the dodge charger concept car that they sadly aren't going to put into production. It is a sweet looking car in my opinion and the R/T version was supposed to have 300+ hp.

I made a quick wallpaper if anyone is interested.

I'd love to be able to buy one of these, but it doesn't look like that will happen.

something similar will be coming out. The 300N which will be RWD V8 hemi. Its going to be based on the LX series: LX, LXi, 300N. The 2 LX's will be FWD and will take over for the intrepid and LHS(i think)

SmiZ! Where ya been, man? Haven't seen you around here much lately.

The Charger was a SWEET-looking concept, and that is a nice wallpaper. It sucks that they won't be making it. The Buick Bengal roadster just got the axe, as well. Too bad.

US Carmakers are hurting, so they are not going through with production of some of these vehicles, which sucks. I wouldn't mind if they produced the Chrysler 300 Hemi C, either.

If there's 2 concept cars that deserve to make it to the market, it's the new Hemi C and that Charger. I've heard the Charger is supposed to run off of CNG fuel, don't know the specifics of how it works just yet. But Dodge needs to get a hand in the muscle/sports car market again, I've been sad since they dropped the Daytona nameplate back in 93, and it's replacement, the Avenger, achieved little...

i'm sorry but if you're gonna make a wallpaper and distribute it on the net.. at least start with a high quality image. the car in the middle looks like ass quality wise.

Yes, it ran on CNG (compressed natural gas).

Problem is, I don't think there's any good high-res images available of this car anywhere to begin with.

Why does the lines on that body remind me of a vette.

Don't like Dodges but that is a sweet looking car, would take it over any import.

the new Stratus R/T is peppy with a 5spd. 200hp. Not too bad. The 300M is a quick car too. Along with the Intrepid R/T, which shares the same engine as the 300M.

I don't claim to be a professional computer graphic guru. Just put something together and thought someone else might like to use it. Don't like it, don't download it, it's that simple.

That car IS sweet. saw that at the auto show like 3 years back I think... Maybe 2..

it's powered by a 4.7L Supercharged Natural gas V8 (borrowed from new Grand Cherokee) and it was going to have 325 HP.

those are the specs from when i first read about it a few years back.. Don't know what the specs are now... SWEET looking though!!

yeah i wish they would make the charger. i like the way it looks; nice modern design on the old charger style. kind of vette-ish at the furthermost rear of the car but definately has the the old charger lines in the back half of the car.

I wish they would use a different name, I'd kill for a 70 Charger with a 440 6-pack, that car is kinda cool but it's not a Charger.

So let me get this straight....it runs on CNG, which apparently is compressed natural gas........compressed? So when someone plows into the rear of the car an punctures the gas tank they'll have to identify the body by its teeth which have been blown 50 yards clear of what used to be a vehicle but is now a small crater? Hmmm, seems a bit volatile to me, but I know nothing about cars.

I also remember reading about how they took the gas tank and put it into a fire and shot bullets thru it or something without major negative results.. it's been a while since i've heard about this car, but i remember others being concerned about the natural gas too, but apparently it's safe.

How often does someone plow into a car and bust the gas tank apart? it's placed in the center of the car so it's well protected.

that car looks so badass. First thing i'd do if i bought one would be to take off the stupid DODGE letters on the back. Remove all evidence that this car is a dodge and we have one sweet ass car.
