I once accidentally sliced my wrists as a kid. Was rummaging through a drawer and somehow, a sharp blade cut through my wrist (more like poked through it). I didn't feel anything at first but as I started to lose blood, my vision got blurry, my legs felt weak. I laid down on my bed, called out to my mother and passed out.
It was a strange, weird feeling. Any time I watch a movie where there is a wrist-slicing scene, I feel this strange chill run down my body. Instant flashback to that incident and I get transported back to that moment.
I have no fucking idea how all these emo kids trip on wrist-cutting. It is NOT a pleasant feeling. /shrug
Anything to do with wrists, needles and eyeballs creeps me out. Which reminds me, there was once this freak accident in school. Some kids were roughhousing and somehow, one of the kids ended up with a fucking bone poking through his skin (wrist). That was one of the most creepy things I ever saw. I can handle most Faces of Death and Rotten.com stuff. Pound a guy's skull in and I will just go, "Aargh fuck this shit." But I see that girl in 'Thirteen' slice her wrists and I have to look away.
