gigapet, just FYI, by posting the domain names you have registered, anyone who reads this thread can easily figure out your real name, address, and phone number.

<< ahhh... why work when you can leech off others? >>

Its called making a smart business move. But with an attitude like that, you will fit in perfectly to the standard 9-5 40 for 40 plan.

u think its funny, and you can just say, i have nothing...it doesnt work that way...if you say bring it on, they will bring it...and then you will really have nothing...for a long while. its not a game. you have nothing, so how do you pay them?? right, you cant, so you file for bankruptcy so the court doesnt take your computer away...

then for a decade, no bank, school, or anything will give you a loan, tuition, grant, or a decent job.

think about it. plus, you think big companies dont check around here and similar places??

look at the paypal bot (thanks for tshirt!!) and the antecCSR guy, proof enough...maybe nike doesnt have someone, but maybe an afiliate??

c u when u get there

Not to mention by posting this you make it look even more like you're trying to do nothing but get money from them. Nike can take the domains easily, you really don't have a leg to stand on. It's even less of a leg if you're parking them, because a parked domain of this nature usually means you're just waiting for Nike to call with an offer.

Gone are the days of profitable cybersquatting.

Oh, and AnandTech Forums have 67,000+ members. Multiply that by $2, and that'd be more then ANY possible settlement

I'm a student I am bankrupt already! I have not caused nike any damage by owning these names heck they could have bought them when they bout the rest. And as a sidenot this domain was previously registered to another individual who was also not sued. Worst case i get my domain registration money back and hand over the names but like i said can anyone find me WHERE it says that nike owns the trademark for Nikeworld.

You might not want to have mentioned that fact, either...not only can they no liquidate you for what you have, but they can liquidate your business.

You just keep digging, and digging...my advice, get the hell of this board, write Phil Knight an nice apologetic message for trying to make money for his hard work in creating a brand, and do a nice transfer of the domains to the NIKE-DOM NetSol ID.

Unless you put up a legitimate webpage on the site, they can sue you for it. Hell, they'll probably sue you for it anyway and you'll lose because you don't have the money to pay for a lawyer. The fact that you registered the domains with the intent to sell them for profit doesn't help your cause.

Yeah, there was a story about this on my local news station about how this start-up company forgot to pay their $34 yearly fee to register.com and had their name taken away. Of course, there was this guy that bought the name for $34 got a ton of traffic hitting his site and then ended up selling the domain back to the company for $10,000 or something like that Seriously, if you can't pay the $34 fee, the domain is up for grabs
