Well, I didn't play it until a few years after it was released. I played Duke Nukem, Wolf 3D, Rise of the Triad, and some space FPS before I played Doom.

Doom was the best single-player FPS game up until Half-life. I still play it. I think the number of levels and mods for it really helped it out.

Unfucking believable, I think I need to go take an aspirin because i might be having a heart attack from all the suspense and fear, and it blows far cry's graphics out of the water, ON MEDIUM!

1 GB of PC3200
Radeon 9500
Nforce 2 Ultra 400 mb
SB Audigy 2 zs

Btw, I think Hardocp and the rest were right, there really is NO need to run out and grab a new gfx to play this, anything r300/nv30 and up will be just fine.

Sure, I'd post and say it was the most awesome thing since the first time I had sex in a public restroom with people banging on the door, but that would be AFTER I'd emerged from the 6-days plugged-in that it took me to beat the game.

Hey, micheal, run out to BB tommorow morning and see if you can snag a copy! I think you will enjoy it, to be honest I never played DI and DII, but this game simply kicks ass. oh and i am playing it, alt tab is my friend, and YES, it is that smooth that you can alt tab to firefox and use both at same time.

what the hell are you talking about, i took screens as i was installing, lmao! I thought there was no point in taking in game screens since everyone would say i got them off the net, but I KNOW that there arent too many if any sites who bothered to take screens of the installation, lol
