PC Gamer's review didn't mention any glaring bugs.
IMO, PC Gamer's review didn't really mention much of the gameplay at all. It seemed to be mostly fluff for a few pages in order to get people to buy the mag. Hell, I could've BS'ed my way through that review just as well.
I wouldn't go by any reviews that are written WELL before the game hits shelves. Think about it, with PC Gamer being a magazine, they have strict deadlines they have to meet. These deadlines are usually well before the mag reaches any customer's hands, as they have to proof everything, get all articles and such set, then send away to printing and packaging, then shipping. Deadlines for art and articles (including the review and cover) should be atleast 2 weeks before any customers get their hands on it, and I'm conservative with that estimate. So let's do the math. The review first popped up about a week or so ago, making the magazine first available for reading around the 20th. Then, give atleast a couple of weeks for deadlines, so that pushes it back to around July 6th. Even then, the reviewer said he went through and beat it, and it was a 20+ hour game, meaning it took around 24 hours to play, and I'd give atleast a couple of hours to write up a review (although it should take a lot longer). We're pushing the beginning of July, a good month before the game is released, and atleast 2 weeks before it went gold.
PC Gamer obviously had a still incomplete version to play, no matter what they say. Time doesn't hold up their stance that they played it when it was done. So I'm sure their version they played was still being cleaned up a bit before it went gold. Therefore, they couldn't really comment on any bugs that may or may not show up in the final version.
